The Wedding

Our family traveled to Austin this weekend for Jason & Kate's wedding. Jason is the last of the brother's (on Scott's side) to get married. This was kind of a historical event for us, it was the first time that Scott's entire side of the family has been together, ever. All the brothers, wives, kids and grandparents. What great memories we made.

The ceremony was so sweet and the reception was wonderful, great food and then dancing! I think Gabbie and Grace danced to every song that was played, oh and Brent too. Nema and Pa even got out there a shook it. They have moves we've never seen before. We had to teach Timothy some moves and he did quite well! Loved all the dancing (especially with my hubby) and just spending time together. Who knows when that will happen again.

Congrats to Jason & Kate, we are glad to have you in the family.

Starting something new

So I have friends that blog and I love to read all about what they are doing so here I am thinking I will give it a shot.

As most know we made a big move back to the San Angelo area in December 09. Gabbie started to Wall elementary and seems to have adjusted well. We feel very blessed that we already knew people here so we didn't have to start completely over.

As much as I never wanted to live in the DFW area, I grew to love it and love the people there. Especially those of you that I became good friends with. I do miss you and the shopping!!!

We started our summer off with a weekend at PK lake. We had a blast. Timothy and his friend Nate came with us along with my entire family and my Nan. There was lots of tubing, skiing and surfing going on. We tried to fish but the fish weren't bitin! There is something about being at the lake, almost like you are in another world. I always hate leaving and going back to reality.

We left the lake and came home, Timothy had Nate come back with us and stayed the entire week. Gab left us on Friday to go to GiGi and Grandad's house, Timothy & Nate left on Sunday which left Scott and I alone. Wow.........it hasn't been just us two for this many days in I don't know how long. On Monday we celebrated our 9th Anniversary. Funny, it just doesn't seem like it has been 9 years. I am so blessed to be married to such a wonderful man. He loves his family and wants only the best for us and for that I am truly thankful.

So this is the start to our Tales, I hope I can keep up with this. What a great gift to our family this will be in years to come.
